...horses may get more treats! It's a win-win scenario!
We all know that these are tough economic times, and
sometimes it can be hard to find ways to save money. Of course, owning a horse can be a big
expense and my friends at the Rutgers Equine Science Center are hosting a
seminar to show you how to make it more economical! So round up your friends and join us!
Carey Williams will be leading the discussion at the annual Horse
Management Seminar on Saturday, February 4th from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm
at the Cook Campus Center in New Brunswick, NJ. The seminar’s theme is “Responsible Horse
Ownership in a Tough Economic Climate” and will feature presentations by
several equine industry experts spanning topics from business planning for
equestrians, marketing and promotion of horses and services, to reducing feed
costs by improving pastures, the cost of keeping a horse, and economical
veterinary care.
You’ll probably have a bunch of questions following the
presentations…lucky for you, the seminar will conclude with a panel discussion
and question and answer session from the professionals! They will help you learn the best ways to
keep horses happy and healthy; and equine businesses successful and profitable,
without breaking the bank!
Check out the brochure for more
information about the seminar. Don’t
forget, you can always reach out to your old pal Lord Nelson if you have any
horsey questions. Send me an email at
LordNelson@aesop.rutgers.edu and I’ll be sure to reply quickly; unless you
happen to email while I’m napping or snacking!
Your buddy,
